The sad truth about links.
I used to have links on my web site that made it
convenient for visitors to my site to go directly to other sites
with subject matter related to my site. However, when I was
informed that the screening software of a school system had blocked
access to my site because it contained links which led (via links to
links to links) ultimately to some cult site I was appalled!
Of course it is impossible for anyone to continuously monitor all of
the sites which are linked to all of the sites to which you have a
link. For that sad reason I am forced to remove all links to
other sites from my web site because my site is a "family-safe" site
about woodworking (and, to a small degree, art) intended for all
ages. I will continue to give
references but it is up to the reader to find the actual URL.
Greentree Creations by Jane
Burke. Jane is an exceptional artist in the field of
marquetry (pictures created using wood veneers) and I strongly
recommend her work. The name of her web site is gtcreations.
All you need is to add the usual tripple-w prefix and a "dot"
before her site name and a "dot" and a "com" after her
site name to
make the URL. Highland
Hardware is an excellent supplier of tools and supplies for
those interested in fine woodworking. They also offer many
classes in the skills of fine woodworking. To get their URL
take the word highland and jam it up against the word woodworking
and then add a "dot" and a "com".
